Privacy policy

Fazer Contas doesn't keep the personal data of the people who use it. There's no account or sign-up, and no name or phone number is asked for. The homes and everything in “My details” stay on the phone or the computer where they were typed: we don't receive them, see them or keep them. The only thing that reaches us is what's written to us, and it's deleted when the conversation ends. There are no ads, cookies or statistics.

Our server

To read a listing shared with the app, the listing's text goes to our server, which reads it and doesn't keep it. The app and the computer page also ask it for the Euribor and the INE figures, without saying anything about who is asking. When the iPhone and the computer are linked, the homes and “My details” pass through it encrypted, and not even we can read them.

Write to us

In the app, “Write to us” (in “My details”, “Help and suggestions”) sends us a message with the topic, the text and the app and iOS versions and, only if it's left, an email address for the reply. The message passes through our server, which sends it on to our email and doesn't keep it. When the conversation ends, we delete the message.

Other companies

• Cloudflare, where the server, the computer page and this site are hosted, and through which our email passes: it sees the IP address of whoever connects, to deliver the requests, sometimes outside the European Union, with the safeguards the law requires.
• The listing portals: to read a listing and show the home's photo, Fazer Contas visits the listing's page, as a browser would.
• WhatsApp and CommonVox: “Talk to a specialist” opens WhatsApp with a message already written, which only reaches CommonVox, with whom we have a partnership, if it's sent. WhatsApp and CommonVox handle it under their own privacy policies.
• Google: our email is a Gmail account, where the messages sent to us are kept.
• Apple: if sharing with app developers is switched on in the iPhone's settings, Apple may send us the app's crash reports.

Deleting everything, and your rights

On the iPhone, just delete the app; on the computer, delete the data for fazercontas.com in the browser's settings. The General Data Protection Regulation gives the right to know what personal data we process and to have it corrected or deleted: requests and questions to privacidade@fazercontas.com. There's also the right to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, the Portuguese data protection authority (www.cnpd.pt).
